What happens during filler injections?

Prior to filler injections, your provider reviews your medical history and expectations, and examines your skin in problem areas. If fillers are right for you, they numb the treatment area so you don’t feel discomfort during needle insertion.

What should I expect after treatment?

There’s no downtime after dermal filler injections, so you can resume a normal routine right away. You may notice redness or some swelling at the injection sites, which soon subsides. 

You can ice the area if you’d like to minimize swelling. Your aesthetic provider might recommend a series of filler injections or neurotoxin injectables to optimize your results.

How long will my results last?

Results from dermal fillers can last 6-24 months or longer, depending on the type of filler your provider uses. After your body absorbs filler substances over time, repeat injections are needed to maintain long-lasting results.
